The focus is on fast and bloody combat with satisfying feedback and environmental response in a dark Lovecraftian story of social unrest.

Into the Fray is part of the Skautfold series and follows Usurper and Shrouded in Sanity, but can also be played standalone.

The story unfolds in 1899 on Portland Island. Take control of Hito, the Third Knight of the Empire, to investigate a king's disappearance and a revolutionary faction called the Sons of Washington.

Avoid the descending mist and guide the islanders in defense against the rebels and their Eldritch allies.

• Explore corpse-filled streets and damp caves, or clear underground tunnels that have secret roots from rituals designed to increase the mist's influence.
• As you search for a way to stop the ongoing destruction, you will surely uncover some of the island's deepest and darkest secrets.
