The Mado monogatars series began as a first-person Dungeon-Crawler RPG series, created by Compile for MSX and PC-98 during the '80s and '90s. Since then, the Mado monogatars have gained fame for their unforgettable characters and Dungeon-Crawling gameplay.

The Academy has a long and rich history, known as the place where the great wizard studied and graduated. Students here learn to become wizards.

A girl named Fia, who wishes to enroll in the Academy, undertakes a long and difficult journey from her homeland and succeeds thanks to her luck.

An adventure begins alongside the beast and her companions, as she explores the mysteries of the Academy of Ancient Magic and uncovers the legends of the great wizard.

• Use magical arts and collect elements to fill your gauge and unleash magical attacks.
• Manage your inventory and stats as you traverse expanses of rich treasures and magical monsters – including Puyo, Skeleton T, and more.
• Store your unlocked abilities with the help of grimoires, which record Fia's magical arts.
• Complete quests, assist in competitions, and earn learning points to unlock nodes in the grimoire and learn new magical arts.
• Take a break from dungeon exploration and explore the school grounds, where the beast can check the announced image for unlocked mini-games, interact with classmates, cultivate materials, cook dishes for upgrades, and much more.
• Discover what other events await Fia during her journey.
• Use armors, shields, and protectors with synthesis in the warehouse.
• In the school’s warehouse, use items found in underground dungeons to synthesize them into new equipment. Better synthesized items can be issued later from the grimoire.
