Fornix MIPS Helm Granite Grey Matt XL-XXL/59-62

Pros and cons MIPS A low-friction layer between the outer shell and the liner provides extra protection against rotational forces in a fall. Aramid-reinforced liner A layer of aramid in the liner increases penetration protection, giving you extra confidence in demanding terrain. Adjustable ventilation The vents can be opened and closed, so you can fine-tune the temperature inside the helmet as conditions change. Precise fit The 360° adjustment system at the back lets you dial in the fit exactly, even with gloves on. Soft ear pads The removable ear pads are comfortable to wear and let enough ambient sound through. Runs small The helmet comes up slightly smaller than the stated size suggests, so if you're in doubt, go a size up. Description The POC Fornix MIPS is an all-round helmet for skiing and snowboarding. Its in-mould construction bonds the outer shell directly to the foam, and this is reinforced by an aramid layer in the liner for added penetration protection. MIPS adds a low-friction layer between the outer shell and the liner. Goggle chimneys channel moisture away from your goggles, and a fixed goggle clip keeps them securely in place.
