These high-performance radial bearings deliver 35-40% higher load capacity compared to standard bearings by incorporating a unique design that maximizes the number of balls through custom ground race slots. The increased number of balls and deep race grooves offer enhanced lateral support for twisting and multi-directional forces, making them ideal for mountain bike pivots and pedal systems. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove race design with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals for optimal protection against dirt and moisture, while maintaining 90% fill of high-pressure Almagard grease. Used in numerous pedal brands including Crank Brothers, these bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Engineered with deep race grooves to accommodate larger balls and dual-lip seals riding in micro-grooves, they provide superior sealing and durability in harsh riding conditions.
