Enduro Bearings introduces the MAX type bearing, a revolutionary solution designed over 20 years ago to tackle the demanding needs of mountain bike pivots. With a 35-40% higher load capacity than standard radial bearings, these bearings feature a specialized design that maximizes the number of balls inserted through a custom ground slot in the races. This design, combined with deep race grooves, offers enhanced lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces typical in mountain biking. Equipped with deep-groove race designs, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals, these bearings provide optimal protection against dirt and moisture while maintaining 90% fill of high-pressure Almagard grease. Ideal as pivot bearings on older full suspension bikes such as Kona Stinky, GT RTS, and models from Trek and Scott. Our Enduro bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. Designed with the deepest groove races possible, they accommodate larger balls and feature dual-lip seals that create a full labyrinth for superior environmental protection.
