With over 20 years of innovation, MAX-type bearings offer 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a full complement of Grade 10 balls housed in deep-groove races with custom ground slots. These bearings feature deeper race grooves for enhanced lateral support, essential for handling twisting and multi-directional forces on mountain bike pivots. Equipped with full-contact, double-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals and filled with 90% of high-pressure Almagard grease, they ensure maximum protection against dirt and moisture. The black-oxide/magnetite coating adds superior corrosion resistance, extending durability and performance. Suitable as suspension pivot bearings, they are available in various materials including high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls.
