The year is 1917 - war has engulfed the land. Billions of people have been slaughtered in the name of fanaticism, at the hands of unprecedented technology.

However, all previous atrocities were a prelude to an even greater, unforeseen disaster.

When, on April 15th, an army of aliens descended from the sky at the end of the war and indiscriminately opened fire on soldiers and civilians, the foundations of the world shook, and humanity would face its darkest hour.

Faced with an enemy so terrifying and overwhelming, the nations of the earth, exhausted, had no choice but to set aside old grievances and fight side by side if they wanted to avoid total annihilation - or even worse.

However, courage and unity were not enough to withstand the sheer power of such an advanced race that even the universe itself proved no obstacle for them.

Meanwhile, Dr. Brunhild Stahlmuller, a perfect scientist, worked tirelessly with her assistant, Harmuth Griesram, to develop an experimental aircraft called Red Beezlebub.

Based not only on existing aeronautical technology but also on fragments of alien remnants from recent battlefields, this new invention is capable of extended atmospheric flight, as well as long interstellar travel.

As there are no pilots in a condition - either physical or mental - to take the pilot's seat, the heroic doctor dons her helmet and takes us on the first flight of the Red Beezlebub: to the battlefields of Verdun.

Her target: the chess master, the new king of humanity, self-made. A usurper and blasphemer. Fueled by gasoline and hatred, her Valkyrie's flight will end either in a bloody victory or a glorious death.

She did not know that he himself is merely a pawn on the chessboard of the true player, and she watches every move of Brunhild with greedy and lustful eyes.
