The intelligent interface also clearly indicates your device pairing status, connection status, active codec and whether the signal from your TV is a valid audio source. On board volume controls also allow you to adjust the volume on your headphones - especially useful for devices which do not have their own volume controls.

The Orbit even supports a mic input - this means even if your TV audio ports are inaccessible or unavailable, the Orbit can still pick up the audio from the TV's external speakers and stream the audio to your headphones.
